Charlie in New Orleans music videos - DVD

Recently rescued from the archives, this DVD compilation features Charlie performing with 4 of his favorite and most prestigious ensembles in New Orleans from 1998-2002. These simulcasts were recorded at Tippitina's 8th Floor Studios and the Louisiana Jukebox and were originally aired on local and regional TV as well as global webcasts. Bands include the New World Funk Ensemble, Theresa Andersson Group, Stanton Moore's "Moore & More", and Quintology. A special bonus edition includes interviews, photo's, and behind the scenes information... Artwork by Frenchy was also created live during other band performances in New Orleans. This DVD is for promotional purposes only and is NOT for sale. However, this music was meant to be seen and heard by all - so for more information please use the contact form... Enjoy!!!

The Royal Albert Hall - London, England

I can't think of a better way to start the new year than what I'm doing at the moment. Everyday I wake up, go to Starbucks, walk through beautiful Hyde Park here in London and then casually stroll into the Royal Albert Hall, play a gig (or two) and then come back home only to do it again the next day (for the next 6 weeks!)... It's quite 'mad' really - as they say here in the U.K. Performing at the RAH is like a dream come true for me. Walking through the back-stage corridors or up in the gallery just gives me a feeling of nostalgia thinking about all of the history that has taken place there. The RAH was built in 1871 and literally EVERYONE has performed there through the years. The crowds are extremely different than Japan (and there aren't any earthquakes during sound-check either!) but just as appreciative and even more enormous. It's funny but I'm listening to the local British radio at the moment and they are playing the Beatles - HA! Gotta love it... Cheers mates!
